Re-ordering

Autobuy suggests orders from TABS sales and stock analysis, so they reflect real demand rather than a fixed minimum. Run it manually or on a schedule, honouring supplier order days, delivery days and minimum order values. "Buy for open orders" raises purchase orders for exactly what outstanding customer orders need.

Good to know

Stock control questions, answered

Can I track stock across multiple locations?

Yes. TABS stock control gives you real-time visibility of inventory across every warehouse, shop floor and branch. You can view consolidated stock levels, drill into individual bin locations and process branch-to-branch transfers directly within the system.

Does it support barcode scanning?

Absolutely. TABS works with standard USB barcode scanners and handheld computers. Use them for goods-in receiving, put-away, despatch verification, stock takes and point-of-sale operations to dramatically improve speed and accuracy.

How does automated re-ordering work?

Autobuy is driven by TABS sales and stock analysis: what is selling and reorder levels, so suggested purchase orders reflect real demand rather than a fixed minimum. They are linked to your preferred suppliers, respect each supplier's order days, delivery days and minimum order values, and you review and send them in a few clicks.

Can I see stock levels from my EPOS?

Yes. Because TABS EPOS and stock control share the same database, every sale instantly updates your inventory. Staff can check real-time stock levels across all locations directly from the till without switching between separate systems.

How do stock takes work?

Two ways. Directed counts assign locations to counters and walk them through what should be there. Free scanning lets a counter scan whatever is on the shelf by location, with uncounted lines zero-filled. Both produce variance analysis and flag stock found in the wrong location.

Can I build kits or sell items from bulk?

Yes. Kits and bills of material can be built and de-kitted with cost apportioned across the components, and package deals let you sell mix-and-match bundles with their own sales history. Micro-unit pricing to four decimal places handles items sold by the each from bulk packs.
